Who are we?
Insight for Teens is a student-led project created to make learning easier, more engaging, and more relevant for young people aged 13–17. We believe that students learn best when information is clear, interesting, and connected to real life, not overly complicated or hard to understand.
This website was designed to bring together simple AI agents that support everyday student needs. Whether it’s finding a book you actually enjoy, understanding what’s in your food, or making sense of what’s happening in the world, Insight for Teens is here to help in a way that feels approachable and useful.
We focus on creating a positive and supportive experience. That means no judgment, no confusing language, and no pressure, just helpful guidance that makes it easier to learn, think, and grow.
At its core, Insight for Teens is about using technology in a smarter way: not just for entertainment, but to help students build confidence, stay curious, and make better decisions in their daily lives.
The Challenge
Many middle school students find it hard to stay interested in learning when they’re not in class. Reading can feel boring, especially if the books they’re given aren’t things they like. Some students also don’t have easy tools to help them understand topics like healthy eating or what’s happening in the world. At the same time, there’s a lot of information online, but it’s not always easy to understand or know what’s true. Because of this, students might struggle to build good habits, become strong readers, or understand the world around them.
Solution
This project creates a group of AI tools made just for middle school students. These tools are designed to make learning more fun, helpful, and interactive.
One tool suggests books based on what students like to read and lets them talk about those books in an online club. Another tool helps students learn about the food they eat and encourages healthy habits and positive thinking about their bodies. A third tool explains world news in a simple way and helps students share their own ideas about it.
All these tools are in one place, using AI to help students improve their reading, learn about health, and think more deeply about the world.
The Goal
The goal of this project is to see how AI can help middle school students learn and grow. It gives students personalised suggestions, helpful information, and chances to share their ideas. The platform aims to help students become more curious, knowledgeable, and confident. In the end, it hopes to build better reading habits, encourage healthy lifestyles, and improve thinking skills, while also showing how technology can be used in a safe and responsible way for learning.
